Beards are becoming more and more popular these days, and with this newfound boost in popularity, more and more beard care companies are popping up. 

There are many different beard products out there like balms, waxes, combs, and brushes, but we are going to be focusing on beard oil in this post. 

Beard oil is basically a blend of essential oils that is used to hydrate one's beard and the skin underneath, while making the beard itself more manageable, sleek, and shiny.

In our search for the best beard oil, we are looking for a product that accomplished all of the goals mentioned above, without being too greasy or sticky, while providing pleasant yet not overpowering aromas.

Limber Jack is made with argan oil, sweet almond oil, tea tree oil, hempseed oil, and eucalyptus. The end result is a beautifully aromatic oil that turns the wildest of manes into the sleekest of beards! I would say that this blend has an earthy and outdoorsy type of scent, and while it smells great, it isn't too overpowering.  

This product really put a healthy shine on my beard without making it greasy. Limber Jack made my beard extremely pliable and manageable as well, which is quite uncommon for me. 

All in all I would say this is the favorite beard product I have ever tried and once I discovered this product, I decided I would never buy from BeardBrand again.

This blend's ingredients aren't divulged but they are said to be all natural and organic. The aroma of BBO's house blend is sweet, earthy, and slightly minty. I presume that there is some peppermint oil, maybe some cinnamon oil, and probably some tea tree or eucalyptus. All in all, it is one of my favorite oils due to the fact that it is very cheap at only $12.99 per bottle! 

3. BeardBay's COCO-MINT

If you like coconut and mint and you have a beard, you should buy this product. BeardBay created another masterpiece with this oil and it is hard to beat if you want a clean refreshing scent in your beard! 

This beard oil is made with coconut oil that is fractionated. This means that it will not solidify under normal room temperatures like most coconut oil out there, and that makes it a perfect carrier oil for this blend. There is then some supreme peppermint essential oil added into the mix to give it that dreamy aroma that is both manly and clean. 

The price on this product is $14.99, unless you can find a sale or coupon code, which is quite frequently with this company. 

4. BeardBrand's Spiced Citrus Beard Oil

Even though I feel that BeardBrand is overpriced and a bit snobby now that they were featured on Shark Tank, there is still no denying that the Spiced Citrus Beard Oil is a winner and couldn't left out on this list. There are other companies with citrus beard oils for a better price and considering BeardBrand lists all of their ingredients, it wouldn't be hard for one to mimic this product for a better price. If you have a spare $25.00 for ounce of beard oil, this is a great pick.
